âď¸ Trump administration fires 8 immigration judges in New York City
The administration removed eight immigration judges from their positions without explanation, disrupting ongoing asylum hearings and creating uncertainty for thousands of pending cases. Legal experts warn the dismissals appear politically motivated amid a broader effort to reshape the immigration court system. Advocates say the sudden firings undermine due process and could delay proceedings for months. So letâs be clear, the Trump administration complains about immigration enforcement on a daily basis but just fired judges who are overseeing thousands of cases. Sounds like a BS fascist move to us.â CBS News
⪠âICE was hereâ: Massachusetts church displays message in Nativity scene
A Massachusetts church placed the message âICE was hereâ inside its Nativity display to draw attention to escalating immigration enforcement and its impact on local families. Church leaders said the installation symbolizes fear, disruption, and the separation of immigrant families during the holiday season. Community members responded with strong emotion, calling the display a powerful reminder of the human cost of immigration raids. Bravo to any organization speaking out against the harms happening under this fascist authoritarian police state led by the Trump administration. â WPRI
đľ Trump bets on local cops for help with ICE raids
The Trump administration is urging local police departments to join federal immigration enforcement, offering new funding streams to cover salaries and overtime. Critics warn that this move blurs the line between community policing and federal authority, increases racial profiling, and undermines public trust. Some cities are pushing back, citing legal risks and threats to civil-rights protections. Federalizing local police is a tactic used by dictators and fascist leaders, and itâs critical that we support every agency that refuses to participate in this authoritarian overreach. â Axios
đ Native American actor says she was detained by ICE officers who said tribal ID âlooked fakeâ
Elaine Miles, a well-known actor and enrolled member of a Native tribe, was detained by immigration agents who wrongly insisted her Tribal Identification looked âfake.â âWhat weâre talking about here is racial profiling,â Seattle-based Indigenous rights attorney Gabriel Galanda told the Seattle newspaper. âPeople are getting pulled over or detained on the street because of the dark color of their skin.â The incident has sparked outrage among Native communities who say such detentions reflect a long pattern of discrimination. â The Guardian
đď¸ âLiving an American nightmareâ: LA hearing details lasting trauma of ICE raids
A congressional field hearing in Los Angeles became heated as lawmakers grilled federal officials over mass raids that have destabilized families and overwhelmed local support systems. Community groups testified about people being detained without cause, children separated from parents, and the growing climate of fear. Federal representatives defended the operations of a textbook fascist police state under the Trump administrationâno rights, no due process, no freedom, prompting sharp criticism from civil-rights advocates and elected officials. â The Guardian
đ Wyden Blasts Kristi Noem for Abusing Subpoena Power to Unmask ICE Watcher
Senator Ron Wyden from Oregon is demanding answers about whether federal customs officials, under coordination with state leadership, used government tools to unmask anonymous social-media users critical of state policies. The revelations raise concerns about potential First Amendment violations and misuse of surveillance powers. âDHS apparently is trying to expose an individualâs identity in order to chill criticism of the Trump Administrationâs immigration policies.â Lawmakers are calling for full transparency and an investigation into whether political motives drove the monitoring. â The Intercept
Urgent Calls to Action to hold ICE accountable:
When leaders escape accountability, it signals that powerânot justiceârules, eroding trust, fueling corruption, and opening the door to authoritarianism. Billionaire-backed justices and elites aren't serving the peopleâtheyâre scheming to suppress our voices, strip away our rights, and rule over us. But progress and power to the people is more than an idea; itâs a movement. By standing up, speaking out, and demanding dignity, opportunity, and justice for all, we can build an America that truly lives up to its promise.

ICEbreaker News: The Fight to End Cruelty, Detention, and Fear
ICE isnât just a rogue agencyâitâs part of a larger system of state violence that targets immigrants, tears families apart, and undermines our most basic human rights. Empowered by far-right lawmakers, ICE operates with impunity, weaponizing fear and surveillance to criminalize entire communities.
Fueled by anti-immigrant hate and backed by extremist agendas, ICE's operations reflect a broader push toward authoritarianism. Mass raids, indefinite detentions, secretive deportations, and collaboration with local police all feed into a system designed to intimidate, control, and erase. These tactics donât make us saferâthey make us less free.
ICEâs Pattern of Harm Includes:
Targeting immigrant families through mass raids and surveillance
Detaining asylum seekers in inhumane, for-profit facilities
Collaborating with local law enforcement to bypass sanctuary protections
Abusing detainees and violating basic rights and due process
Using fear to silence communities and suppress dissent
Advancing policies rooted in xenophobia and white nationalism
We Must Act:
ICE is not just enforcing lawsâitâs violating them. Itâs time to dismantle the cruelty, end the detentions, and protect our communities. We must organize, resist, and demand a future rooted in dignity, justice, and liberation for all.
Join us. Speak out. Hold ICE accountable. Together, we can break the cycle of fear.
